The estate produces Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. The maiden vintage arrived in 2004 and came away with four medals from the young wine show.
Jagger’s Peak label
Jagger’s Peak is the highest peak in the Winterhoek mountains and towers over Blue Crane Vineyards. For lack of knowing whether it has a real name, Henk and Anita named it Jagger’s Peak (after their Border Collie, Jagger) – and the name stuck.
The Jagger’s Peak label was chosen for the vineyards’ early release wines, typically the whites, and reds that has been on the wood for up to 10 months. Click to order
Blue Crane label - Coming Soon
Named after the estate as well as being the South African national bird, this majestic, graceful bird represents the premium range – berry sorted and on the wood for 22 months.
